Everything you need to know about how an order reaches you: how long it sits with us, what each service costs, what happens at a border, and what to do when something goes wrong.

1. Before it ships

Orders are dispatched from Compton, CA within 2-3 business days.

That window is picking, checking and packing. Every garment is looked at before it goes into the bag, which is the step most responsible for the window existing at all, and also the step that stops a marked piece reaching you.

Orders placed at a weekend or on a public holiday begin their window on the next business day. An order placed late on a Friday is not a slow order; it is an order placed on a Friday.

2. What each service costs

  • Standard: $6.90, and free once your order passes $75.
  • Express: $14.00, 2-3 business days in transit.
  • Overnight: $29.00, next business day in transit.

Transit time is counted from despatch, not from when you placed the order. An overnight service on an order placed at midnight on Saturday is still picked on Monday.

3. Where we ship

We ship worldwide.

Duties on international orders are collected at checkout, so nothing is owed on arrival and no parcel is held at a depot waiting for a payment you did not know about. This is unusual and it is deliberate: a surprise customs bill is the single worst thing that can happen to a parcel somebody is looking forward to.

4. Tracking

A despatch notice goes out the moment the parcel leaves us, carrying the tracking number and a link.

Tracking often shows nothing for the first day. The number is issued when the label is printed and the carrier has not scanned the parcel yet; it is not lost, it is in a van. If it has not moved after two business days, write to us.

You can also look it up at any time on the order tracking page without signing in.

5. Addresses

Give an address where somebody can receive a parcel. We cannot be responsible for a parcel delivered correctly to an address that was entered incorrectly.

  • Before despatch, we can usually change an address. Write to us quickly and we will try.
  • After despatch, we usually cannot. Once the carrier has it, redirection is between you and them.
  • A building with a concierge, a workplace, or a neighbour who is in during the day is more reliable than a house nobody is at.

6. When nobody is in

What happens next is the carrier's decision and follows their own rules: a card, a second attempt, a local pickup point, or a return to sender after a number of days.

If a parcel comes back to us unclaimed, we will refund the goods. We cannot refund carriage that has already been spent, and we will say so rather than pretend otherwise.

7. If it does not arrive

Tell us. Do not wait out of politeness, and do not assume we can see something you cannot.

We will chase the carrier. Where a parcel is genuinely lost, we will send another or refund it, whichever you prefer. We may ask you to confirm in writing that it did not arrive, because the carrier asks that of us.

8. Delays we cannot control

Weather, customs, strikes and peak season all slow parcels down, and none of them consult us.

Where something is delayed beyond anything reasonable, write to us and we will either chase it or refund it. We would rather refund an order that has become an annoyance than defend a delivery estimate.

9. Split orders

Occasionally an order ships in two parcels, usually because one piece is in a different place from another.

Where that happens you get a despatch notice for each, and you are never charged twice for carriage.

If anything on this page is unclear, write to support@ramkthrift.space and ask. A term you did not understand is one we would rather explain than argue about later.
