About RAMK
RK PURITY APPARELS🛍️ makes its own clothes. There are no other brands on this site and no third-party sellers. Every product is cut on our patterns, in runs small enough that we can still check them before they go out.
Why we make rather than resell
A reseller can only sell you what somebody else decided to make. The fabric weight, the length of the body, the way a shoulder is set - all of it is settled before the garment reaches them, and if it is wrong they can do nothing but apologise.
We would rather be responsible for it. When a seam fails, it is our seam. When a size runs small, it is our pattern and it gets changed on the next run rather than explained away on this one.
Small runs, and what they cost us
A short run is more expensive per garment than a long one. We accept that, because the alternative is making three thousand of something before anybody has worn one.
It has consequences you will notice:
- Things sell out, and some of them do not come back. Where a run is final we say so on the page rather than leave you waiting for a restock that was never planned.
- New colours arrive in small numbers first. If one works, it is made again properly.
- We can change a pattern between runs. A fit note that says a style runs long is usually the last run telling us something.
The stock count is the stock count
If a page says four left in waist 32, there are four. When they are gone the size goes grey rather than quietly becoming a two-week backorder.
Stock is held for you while you are at the payment page. If the payment does not complete, the hold is released and the garment goes back on sale, which is why something can be in your basket one minute and gone the next. We would rather tell you that plainly than take an order we cannot fill.
How we price
The price is the price. We do not run a permanent sale against an invented original, and where something is genuinely reduced, the previous price is shown next to it so you can see the size of the cut.
There is no membership, no points scheme and no price that depends on how long you hesitated. A shop that charges two people differently for the same garment is doing something to one of them.
What we photograph
Every product is photographed as it is, in daylight, without the shape being pinned or clipped from behind. If a fabric creases, the photograph creases.
Colour is the honest limitation. Screens differ, and a grey that reads warm on one display reads cold on another. If something arrives a shade from what you expected, that is a return and we treat it as one without argument.
What we will not do
- We will not write our own reviews, or pay anybody to write one. What is on a product page was written by somebody who bought it.
- We will not hide a bad review. A page with nothing but praise is a page telling you nothing.
- We will not sell your details. Not to an advertiser, not to a data broker, not to anybody.
- We will not email you about things you did not ask to hear about.
